Nageh Alashry

Artist Nageh Alashry at the opening of the Thaluth exhbition in March 2022

Contemporary Egyptian artist Nageh Alashry is a fine artist born in 1992. He is well-known for his murals on the corniche as well as on the walls of the Faculty of Fine Arts in Luxor, where he works as an assistant teacher. Many of his artworks speak a highly spiritual and symbolic language.

Nageh Alashry's concept for Thaluth is based on the philosophy of Motoun Idris (the biblical Enoch). It says: In the beginning, the state of being was solitude. The creator was one in a state of solitude. Light and life together. Atum is the one who isn't moving although he is the energy of movement and creates movement. His essence is complete without any imperfections. He is eternal, a haven of peace, waiting for these, who defy their physical existence and rise.

Nageh Alashry

Nageh Alashry was also one of the three artists, who created the ▲Thaluth│Trinity▲ Mural on a wall of his art studio opposite Nūn Art Gallery, which was a sponsor. The mural, for which he contributed the paintings, was inaugurated on 22/04/22.
