Rania Khallaf

Rania Khallaf
Egyptian Contemporary Artist Rania Khallaf

Rania Khallaf is a self-taught artist and creative writer with many years of experience in cultural journalism at Al-Ahram Weekly newspaper, where she currently works as the publication’s art critic. Since 2014, she participated in a number of group exhibitions. Here We Breathe was the title of her debut double exhibition held in Cairo in March 2021.

Rania is passionate about Art and literature. She believes that common spaces between poetry and painting could create a better image of the world. The magic merged between inner and outer worlds is the key to her expressionist and surreal paintings.
