With 18 paintings and 30 sketches by Ahmed el-Shafei.

The exhibition "Golden Gifts" presents masterpieces and sketches of famous artist Ahmed El-Shafei. The ancient Egyptians left us so many invaluable gifts, which are still inspiring our daily lives. Ahmed el-Shafei studied their art for 15 years. His paintings aim to return gifts to his ancestors.

Opening:

The "Golden Gifts" exhibition was opened on Tuesday, 8 December 2020 by artist Ahmed el-Shafei, Prof Emad Abu Zaid and Prof Hany Rizk from the Helwan University. We felt greatly honoured by the presence of the renowned professors and artists of the 13th Luxor International Painting Symposium and the dean, the doctors and artists of Luxor's Academy of Fine Arts. Also, after the long summer hiatus, it was fantastic to gather again for art and meet friends.
