If you like to purchase original artworks and aren't in Luxor right now, contact us, and we will keep it for you until your next visit or find a way to send it to you: unframed and rolled in a mailing tube by private transport, DHL or another carrier. Even when the exhibition is finished, we will do our best to arrange everything for you.

10/03/23 Double Exhibition "Return - 'Ouda"

The 'Ouda Exhibition celebrates a return in many ways and on several levels. The artists Amr Abd El-Wahab and Mahmoud Salem show 35 paintings, graphics, photographs and sculptures. On display from 10 March until 30 April 2023.

05/03/22 Group Exhibition "Thaluth"

Thaluth, which literally means "trinity", was visualising 3 facets of the same state. It showed three exhibitions in one - paintings by Nageh Alashry, sculptures by Med Hamad Nasr Sudany, and murals by Mustafa Halwachi - staged with sound & light as well as directed by Mustafa Halwachi. Guest of honour: Ashraf Alsawy. On display from 5 March to 5 May 2022.

13/01/22 Woman's International Exhibition "Daughters of Hathor"

The "Daughters of Hathor" exhibition showed more than 70 artworks of 14 brilliant artists from Bangladesh, Syria/Canada, Russia, Italy, Germany and of course from Egypt. They used nine various techniques to express their unique creativity. From 13 January to 8 February 2022. Extended until 23 February 2022.

17/12/21 Double Exhibition "In the Picture" with Paintings by Abdullah Ali Butler and Sculptures by Mahmoud Mokhtar

It was not just an exhibition. It was also a 6-day art event. During this event, Abdullah Ali Butler made a painting into which the viewer could climb. He gave it the title In the Picture because you could be inside the painting and become a part of it. Abdullah's co-exhibitor Mahmoud Mokhtar created sculptures for this piece. From 17 December until 10 January 2022.

13/11/21 Triple Exhibition "Ruhaniyat" by Brian Flynn, Alaa Abu el-Hamd and Abou El-Eoun

The Ruhaniyat exhibition showcased 30 paintings and 4 sculptures by three of the most intriguing artists in Egypt: Brian Flynn, Alaa Abu el-Hamd and Abou el-Eoun. On display from 13/11/21 until 14/12/21.

01/06/21 Nūn Art Gallery Summer Collection 2021

During the quiet summer months, we presented a Summer Collection. 40 artworks were on display, most of which you didn't see before at our gallery. We even introduced to you 15 works of 3 new artists. Also, we were happy to exhibit artworks, which you could see until then on our website only. At last, we showed a little retrospective of the four exhibitions of the past season.

27/03/21 Group Exhibition "Couples"

A significant number of people meet their future partners at school/college and work. So do artists. The concept behind Nūn Art Gallery's "Couples" exhibition was to showcase works of artist couples, which are correlative. For example, they could show the same subject or complement each other. At the exhibition, the artworks of 12 artist couples from Luxor, Cairo, Mansoura and Alexandria are presented together: Yousef Mahmoud & Wafa Abdel Maqsoud, Abdullah Ali Butler & Hoda Hussein, Ahmed Abdel Fattah & Nesreen Abd El Helim, Ahmed El-Shafei & Nada Abdel Aziz, Ahmed Mohey Hamza & Gehad Shreat, Alaa Abu el-Hamd & Manal Shuaib, Ayman Kadry & Neveen Mokhtar, Hassan Al-Khatib & Rasha Elmesallamy, Ibrahim Awad & Dalia Saleh Farah, Mahmoud Soliman & Esraa Saleh, Salah Shaban & Hend Sayed, and last but not least Wael Nour & Yousra Hafad.

27/02/21 Double Exhibition "Athir - Ethereal Journey"
by Brian Flynn and Mona Vardi

For the Athir exhibition, we brought together two artists, who originate from western countries but live in Egypt for many years. Athir - Ether, also called quintessence or spirit, is the 5th element that supplements the four classical elements earth, water, wind and fire. The element of ether is the celestial energy that fills all spaces. Ether acts as a bridge between Earth/Body and Heaven/Spirit. Brian Flynn's and Mona Vardi's artworks are inspirited by and connected with this 5th dimension.

11/01/21 Triple Exhibition "Ganubiyat - Southerners"
by Ashraf Abo Elmagd, Gamal Latif and Afaf Salah

The Ganubiyat exhibition (ganubjyat is Arabic for "southerners") presented three artists who originate from Egypt's south. Gamal Latif, Afaf Salah and Ashraf Abo Elmagd transfer scenes from everyday life into amazing colourful paintings. In this way, they ensure that the rural scenes, powerful customs and traditional festivities, which they depict in their artworks, won't be forgotten in modern-day Egypt.
From 11 to 31 January 2021. Extended until 14 February 2021.

08/12/20 Solo Exhibition by Ahmed el-Shafei

The exhibition Golden Gifts presented masterpieces and sketches of famous artist Ahmed El-Shafei. The ancient Egyptians left us with so many invaluable gifts that are still inspiring our daily lives. Ahmed el-Shafei studied their art for 15 years. His paintings aim to return gifts to his ancestors.
From 8 December 2020 to 8 January 2021.
