Nūn Art Gallery, Luxor

Nūn Art Gallery is a unique contemporary art gallery in Luxor, Egypt, which organises art exhibitions and art events. It is dedicated to showcasing authentic visual artworks of Egyptian artists and non-Egyptians living in Egypt, continuously promoting established artists as well as searching for new talents.

Nūn Art Gallery is founded and jointly managed by Sayed Qinawi and Claudia Ali. From February 2020 on, Nūn Art Gallery is reviving the well-known art space beside Wannas Art Cafe close to the Nile on the west bank of Luxor.

We chose the Nūn to represent our gallery because of its complex meaning in the Sufi tradition as well as in ancient Egyptian mythology. If you like to know more about the Nūn — artist Brian Flynn, who also designed our logo, wrote an enlightening article for us: "The Meaning of Nūn".

Double Exhibition "Return - 'Ouda"

With the 'Ouda Exhibition, we celebrate a return in many ways and on several levels. We are thrilled to invite you to the opening on Friday, 10 March 2023, at 5 pm. The artists Amr Abd El-Wahab and Mahmoud Salem show 35 paintings, graphics, photographs and sculptures. Come and celebrate with us The Return - at our old location!

Nūn Art Gallery Retrospective 2022

From the 1st of August 2022 on, Nūn Art Gallery will present a retrospective with 40 artworks of 23 artists. There will be no opening. Whenever you are in Luxor, just pop in and enjoy! The gallery is open daily from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Still at the same place.

Group Exhibition "Thaluth"

Thanks a lot to all of you who celebrated with us the opening of "Thaluth". You made it an overwhelming experience! And of course, a billion thanks to the artists Nageh Alashry, Mustafa Halwachi, Med Hamad Nasr Sudany and Ashraf Alsawy, who show their excellent works in our gallery. And to Prof Fekry Hassan, director of the Cultural Heritage Management Program of the French University of Egypt, Professor Emeritus of Archaeology at the University College London, president of Heritage Egypt and honorary president of the Egyptian Cultural Heritage Organisation, who gave us the honour to inaugurate the exhibition.
